...even if you don't know it yet. So why not train like one? The functional requirements of Olympians, grandmas, and everyone in between differ only in degree, not in kind: everyone should be able to run, or jump, or pick something heavy up off the ground and put it overhead. To that end, CROSSFIT combines weightlifting, basic gymnastics, and high-intensity interval training into short, constantly-varied workouts that will transform both how people perceive you and how you perceive yourself.
Though capable of crushing the fittest of the fit, CROSSFIT is completely scalable, so that anyone, regardless of ability, can jump right in. It's simply a blast. More importantly, it works.
YOU ARE AN ATHLETE--but don't take our word for it. Let us help you find out for yourself.

due to there being 73ft of snow outside i did some cf in the livingroom.
tabata pushups: 64
tabata squats: 113
3min rest
65lbs push press: 3 sets of 10
not a great idea to do push presses after tabatas. my legs were shaky and i was cooked. i didn't like the idea of only training twice this week so i threw this together. probably should have done situps perhaps instead of push presses?
As long as you were keeping the intensity level high and using proper technique, not a bad metcon load. But what's with the 3 minute rest in between sets, Brett? Tabata Burpees would have filled that time in sweeeetly. But worry you not, dear child, we eagerly await your arrival tomorrow for your first official Pioneer Valley Crossfit "Fight Gone Bad"! You are coming tomorrow, right? This winter wonderland frenzy shouldn't be such an obstacle then.
But good for you for busting out a workout at home :)
3 min rest was between the squats and push presses. push presses were just 3 sets not tabata cuz i was pretty much done by then. there was only 1 min rest between tabata pushups and squats. sorry i must work saturday, unfortunately. see you monday morning?
Brett, we've opened up a 5PM WOD slot just for today. It would be super great if you could make that class!
